Heart-felt Congratulations
to Rockland County's only business-to-

by Al Samuels
It's hard to believe that a year has gone by since two of our members courageously stepped forward to fill a void and provide us with an invaluable local asset; the Rockland Business Digest magazine.

Our gratitude and respect are extended to Ken Mahoney and Steve Powell for taking on a significant challenge; meeting that challenge and, most significantly, exceeding reasonable expectations for product delivered.

I spent 18 years in the publishing business and can assure you, what they undertook would have been a major project for an established publisher; it had to be monumental for two people with limited publishing resources and no real infrastructure to support the initiative.

But, they came through. And, we now have a very well targeted magazine distributed to over 11,000 Rockland businesses. It's a great vehicle for your advertising message. It's been a wonderful source of information to help you better understand the business environment in which we operate. And, for the RBA, it's been an incredible opportunity to share our message with members and non-members alike.

We have attracted new members because of the reach of RB Digest. We've been able to share our legislative advocacy with a wider audience. And, in a very broad context, we have been better able to disseminate association information in a very professional and readable format.

Ken. Steve. From all of us in the RBA, Our very best wishes for continued success. We appreciate what you're doing.
